Ready2Code: Vorkurs Programmieren

Gemeinsam mit Michael Roth

Insbesondere für Studierende, die kein oder wenig Informatik in der Schule hatten, soll ein Vorkurs entwickelt werden, der die entsprechenden Grundlagen legt. Neben einem Online Self Assesment Test zur Selbsteinschätzung soll dazu u.a. eine E-Learning-Anwendung (Web, Mobile, Moodle), inklusive zugehöriger Inhalte, erstellt werden, die auf die beiden Anfänger-Veranstaltungen "Programmieren 1" sowie "Algorithmen und Datenstrukturen" hinführt.

Dazu gehört einerseits eine Einführung in das dazu notwendige technische Setup (z.B. Installation eines Compilers, wichtige Systemeinstellungen, Bedienung der Konsole u.ä.), um sich später ganz auf die Inhalte konzentrieren zu können. Andererseits sollen die Studienanfänger damit vorbereitend und spielerisch an das algorithmische Denken herangeführt werden. Dabei sollen propädeutisch auch Themen wie Kontrollstrukturen und Variablen betrachtet werden, ohne jedoch die Inhalte der Erstsemesterveranstaltungen vorzuziehen.

Hinsichtlich der Konzeption des geplanten Vorkurses sind der Fantasie gestalterisch keine Grenzen gesetzt. Beispielsweise kann man sich diverse Gamification-Elemente vorstellen, die in die eigentliche Lernanwendung integriert sein können, wie etwa ein kleines Game zum ersten Kennenlernen der Hochschule usw. Da der Vorkurs neben reinen Online-Anteilen idealerweise auch Präsenz-Anteile haben soll (z.B. im Rahmen der ESE), könnte man sich hier zudem Augmented-Reality-Anteile vorstellen, gemeinsame Scratch-Coding-Challenges etc.
