Successful PhD Defense by ACSD Researcher Timm Lauser on Automotive Security

The ACSD Research Group proudly congratulates Timm Lauser on the successful defense of his PhD thesis titled "Securing Automotive Communication Protocols using Formal Verification". The dissertation was conducted at the Dissertation Center for Applied Computer Science (PZAI) and represents a significant contribution to the field of automotive cybersecurity.

Timm Lauser was supervised by Prof. Dr. Christoph Krauß and Prof. Dr. Alexander Wiesmaier, both from Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. The examination board included Prof. Dr. Steffen Reith (RheinMain University of Applied Sciences) and Prof. Dr. Veelasha Moonsamy (Ruhr University Bochum), with Prof. Dr. Marc Stöttinger (RheinMain University of Applied Sciences) serving as chairman. Additionally, Prof. Dr. Christian Rathgeb (Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences) participated as a board member.
