Big Data Competence Center
The Big Data Competence Center aims at supporting lectures and projects in the field of Big Data Technologies and Applications for all the departments of Hochschule Darmstadt. Running and extending the Big Data Clusters forms an integral part of this support. It enables us to convey the Big Data topic in lectures, practical courses and student projects in a hands-on manner. In addition, students can acquire competence in conducting comparative studies with realistic data sets and application scenarios in the context of their final theses.
Furthermore, we support the Data-Science Master's Programme in close cooperation with the Darmstadt Institut für Statistik & Operations Research (DISO).
Further informationen on the Big Data Competence Center can be found in the Germany – Excellence in Big Data publication.
