PARFAIT project workshop at ACSD

ACSD successfully hosted its first PARFAIT project workshop on Monday the 26th and Tuesday the 27th of May. PARFAIT is a collaborative project between the academia and the industry funded by the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space, BMFTR. The PARFAIT project aims to integrate post-quantum cryptography (PQC) into the automotive components. Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences is contributing to the project through its Applied Cyber Security Darmstadt (ACSD) research group. Researchers at ACSD are investigating new methods for cryptographic agility, fail safe mechanisms, migration strategies and cryptographic protocols that can be used within the automotive environment satisfying its constraints and requirements. During these two days the PARFAIT partners leaded by the ACSD team discussed the crypto-agility mechanisms and how can be incorporated into an automotive solution
