Electric vehicles and charging stations have a long lifetime. But what happens if the cryptographic algorithms used are broken, e.g., by quantum computers? Current standards do not support the update of algorithms. Researchers of the ACSD group propose in the paper "QuantumCharge: Post-Quantum Cryptography for Electric Vehicle Charging" an approach to cryptoagility and the use of post-quantum algorithms.
